Sick sick sick...

So damn suay...
It's the third time this month i'm down with flu and it got worsen this time round, diagnosed with high fever...
Aching all over, can't sleep the previous night either...
Can't keep my eyes open...
Really hope it not something serious...can't help to think otherwise these days with the Avian Flu going around..

No, no you didn't see it wrongly... we STAYED at Ritz Carlton...



See how spacious the room is??? At first we only booked a Deluxe room, but the nice folks at Ritz Carlton upgraded up to a Exective Deluxe for us...



This what we had for dinner the first night. Only took photo of the first two dishes, cause both of us are too hungry le...hahaha... The first pic is small abalone and second is "la la" (kind of shellfish) and the third is stingray... all of them are wrapping in aluminium foil and grilled to perfection!!! Highly Recommended by Moi....LOL

after the good food, we walked around Chinatown, through all the stalls where a lot of branded Replica are sold...no, i didn't get any...

The great thing about staying at RC is, it has a cozy lounge at the 19th floor which provide complimentary drink most of the time..

I had a glass of red wine, while Cynthia opt for a beer instead...


At around 7pm, the personal butler will come in and set the bed for us.
and he left a little something for us by the bed.

Today is Big Walk Day

Woke up bright(not exactly bright lah, 5am in the morning, where got sunlight to shine bright bright???) and early for the annual TNP Big Walk, didn't join last year due to some mixed up, but this year i'm back with my younger brother, Miss Cynthia and Moi....

We met up at Kallang MRT station to walk to the currently renovating National Stadium, decided against taking the free transport at Doby Ghuat and City Hall. Which Miss SinYan and Auntie Irene did...ended up arriving at 8 plus...So they just hang around the area, collected their goodie bag and left...

While the three of us were sloggin along Nicoll Highway...trying to make sense of why are we even torturing ourselves...by walking 10km...hahahaha

Nevertheless, it was fun.... which the big crowd...and hold the hand of my beloved while strolling along the highway...

Went to Sentosa for the sunday to catch the Defend Your Turf Event.
No, no i didn't participate in it... i can't kick that stupid ball...
Just wanted to go there and check out the Brazillian footballers that were specially flew
for this event to play against the local winners of the event...

Turns out the U20 team actually won against the Boy from Brazil in the penalty shootout!!!
Imagine that!!! The malaysian team was actually thrashed 12-0...
Seems like there is a future for football in Singapore...
Hahahahahaha...congrats to the winning teams...

Well, beside that we (Cynthia, my brother, his friends and me) enjoy the Sun, the Sand and the Sea...
Luckily we didn't end up with sunburns.....

Seems like these days that's my first choice of alcohol beverage. It doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste as compared to other kind of beer that i had before...

So both of us had a pint each, and obviously it aint enough for me, so i had another regular one...didn't took picture to compared the difference...

Well, on friday night, i went out with a bunch of kids...
hmmm...youngster i would call them, not kids lah...afterall they are all at least 20 plus years old already.... hahahahaha

So where did we went to??

Cozy little place, at really cold temperature...
was cold like hell...and it's really small....
But not a bad place to hang out though.

Seems like my brother is getting worried about his own birthday, seeing how birthday are celebrated...

Was a boring day at work...
The FA folks removed the hot chuck device that i connected to my tester chuck.
Clear up the mess, setup everything...did the troubleshoot stuff as prescribed in the emails...
Did some of the stuff i was required to do... Nobody came to bother me, nor did i went to bother anybody until the later afternoon...
Life is good.. so quiet, so free... so sianzzz...
Maybe it's just the Monday blues...

Went to classes after work, brave through the freaking heavy rain...
Reach class, can't remember my password to log into the system...
Wah lau eh....

End up, the first lesson is cancelled...

While waiting for the second class to begin, went to get a cuppa of kopi with a few of the guys..
Eric was commenting that while he was doing some of his work at Temasek Poly, all the newbie look so "kin na"
Which made us realise...that we are all so old already...
Imagine those we are at least 9/10 years old then those newbies...

i guess time really passes by when you cross the 21 yr old mark...
Can't even believe that we can even reference things as long as ten years ago...

Just wasn't in the mood to be going to school for today's lesson...

Well, guess my craving got the better off me...

I had the Charbroiled Mushroom burger.... it was huge... and it is indeed nicer than Burger King's Mushroom Swiss Double...
And i was even given the option of adding bacon or onion rings in it...
Everything was served pipping hot...ala Mos Burger's style...
Yummy.....

Had my dinner, finish the newspaper while i was there....
was walking out of Suntec toward the MRT to go back...

Saw lots of those voluteers sling those big big donation box collecting donation for the elders
kinda wonder how was it like? to be sling that across your shoulder...
Maybe i should give it a try....
How does it feel to be doing a good deed, not just donating money, but actually contributing some sweat (Eeeekks) for a good cause...
Well...all i did was popped some loose changes...and left...
How was i supposed to feel??? Good?

I don't know... just nothing...

Great Wednesday...manage to go workout in the company gym....haven't been there in age since the staff lonage was converted into office space...everything there remains pretty much the same...just that it is now relocated in a studio, where you can see those women doing their yoga, pilates, or even aerobics... in their undersized skimpy workout clothes... which kind of a turn off.... just imagine trying to squeeze everything into a undersized luggage, end up having stuff over spilling at the side... Yucks
Wahahahahahaha....

Will try to make time to go gym every Wed...to slowly regain my fitness...which i lost over the last 6 months...arghhhh...

Wondering when is the PBA (Performance Based Appriasal) review gonna be??
But like i said, what's the purpose of that? if you are promoted people when they are not even performing???
